Don't know what to do this summer? Apply to go to a cadet summer camp and receive a training bonus! Cadets who attend summer camps receive a training bonus to learn and take back their new knowledge to help develop their squadron.

Courses offered at Air Cadet summer camps include training in leadership, flying, fitness and sports, survival, military band, pipe band, aerospace, aviation technology, and marksmanship. The courses offered include familiarization, basic, advanced, and national summer training courses.

Cadet Summer Training Opportunities

Cadet Training Centre (CTC) Training - Courses offered to cadets who have completed their second year of training, or higher, hosted at Cadet Training Centres (CTC). Courses range in length from 2-7 weeks and take place at CTC locations across the country.

National Cadet Advisory Council (NCAC) - The NCAC will be hosted by the Commander, Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers Group, at two CTCs, over a six-week training period. This group will provide the opportunity for the Commander and senior staff at the headquarters to engage directly with a group of senior cadets from across the country on a variety of cadet program related topics.

Technology and Digital Learning Centre (TDLC) - Summer 2024 will continue to leverage digital learning, using the TDLC to deliver e-learning courses to cadets from across the country.

Staff Cadet Opportunities - Cadets sixteen and older may also apply for positions as staff cadets at CTCs, the TDLC and Digital Internships in a variety of positions.
